Job Overview  

As a K-12 Physical Education Teacher, this person will work with the Physical Education team to develop skills-based curriculum and teach daily physical education classes as assigned. As an Athletics or Strength Coach, this person will coach at least two seasons, as assigned. They will report both to the Lower, Middle, and Upper School Heads of Physical Education and to the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications

Required 

  • A physical education degree AND/OR 3+ years physical education teaching or fitness experience with a demonstrated understanding of elementary, middle, and upper school students. 

  • Attain all required certifications prior to working with student-athletes (including but not limited to concussion education, First Aid certification, and CPR certification)

  • Experience coaching (athletics team or strength & conditioning) middle AND/OR upper school aged athletes

Preferred 

  • Experience instructing fitness and wellness with middle and upper school students

  • Fall: Soccer, Cross Country, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Tennis 

  • Winter: Basketball, Swim, Indoor Track & Field, Squash, Fencing 

  • Spring: Lacrosse, Track & Field, Softball, Badminton, Golf

The compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience.  The salary range is $68,000-$120,000 annually.
