The Chapin School, an independent K-12 day school for girls located in New York City, seeks a student-centered, collaborative, and innovative educator to serve as Middle School (Class 4) Spanish Teacher and Advisor (Leave Replacement.)

The Middle School (Class 4) Spanish Teacher (Leave Replacement), as a member of the World Languages Department, will teach four sections of 4th grade Spanish and serve as a Class 4 advisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred

  • Native or near native proficiency in Spanish; additional languages a plus

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with students; K-5 teaching experience preferred

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English

Compensation for this position will be pro-rated from an annual salary range of $67,000-$120,000

How to apply: The Middle School (Class 4) Spanish Teacher Leave Replacement for will begin on August 26th and continue until November 15th.
